My name is Darcy Busch, I"m happily married and have a teenage daughter. I was born in Amarillo, Texas and was raised by my single mom. I have a twin sister, a brother and a little sister. I grew up in Scott City, Kansas. I grew up not having much, but what I did made me really appreciate much more. I used to teach preschool, until in 2001 I was diagnosed with cancer. On that very same day, one of my students was killed in a car accident. I became extremely depressed, but with the help of God, I came to realize that life is just too short and I needed to do something more with my life. I quit my job, and returned to college in order to become a doctor. Unfortunately my brain and God decided again, my life was still going to go another direction. While attending Wichita State University, I received word that my first manuscript was going to be published. So instead of going to become a doctor I changed my major to primary education. My book is called "The Adventures of Lily," and is available online @ publishamerica.com and barnesandnoble.com and borders.com, just to name a few. I have been eagerly working away on my second Lily book; which is entitled "Lily and the Hidden Secrets." I am hoping to have it completed before summer is over and sent off to my publisher. I am also working on my first adult book, "Do-Over" which is a fascinating book about a chance in love the second time around.

You're most welcome. I invited Heather too. I was thinking that I'm going to have to schedule my time like this group and roundtable MWF, the pub and pub authors TThS...and rest on sunday. I have my own group now...for Alaska authors and readers. I have one member...me!
