And it's terribly difficult typing this with a Snoops on my lap. Snoops, one of my dogs, is a teensy Jack Russell. He’s blind. He thinks I’m gorgeous! I think I’m in love.
I’ve been writing for a rather long time (ahem) and I live in the small town of Droitwich in the UK, where I strive to stop my witty son typing – THE END – halfway through my manuscripts. I write Romantic Comedy, because I think there is just too much sadness in life and, whilst I do try to portray my characters as real human beings with all their rich eccentricity and emotional fragility, I do like to think I leave the reader with a huge dollop of feel-good factor. A laugh or two—even better!
Oh, I do read, too--and I have a degree if fine art and sculpture! So, I suppose, overall, I am what you would call an "Arty" sort.
